Embark on an exciting journey through Australian history at the National Museum of Australia’s reimagined children’s discovery area. Our mission was to create a digital installation that would captivate young minds with the wonders of Australia’s rich heritage.

Taking inspiration from the design principles of theme park rides, we developed an interactive space where children could freely explore key moments in Australian history. At the same time, we ensured a seamless experience for successive groups of young adventurers. Our innovative tooling system empowered designers to continually introduce a variety of interactions, keeping the environment fresh and engaging for all users.

To make the experience even more captivating, we designed a suite of embedded mini-games, each with unique mechanics. These mini-games were carefully crafted to keep children entertained while they embarked on their historical journey.
